Statement of integrity
In my practice, I work with a wide variety of people. The common thread I have noticed is that my clients come to work with me because they find themselves stuck in their relationship to a sense of purpose & meaning, what some call the Self (with a capital S), or their higher Self. I specialize in addictions of all types; alcohol, nicotine, relationships, sex, and eating disorders, to name a few. Basically I work with clients on any relationship with a substance or a behavior that they find themselves having little control over, that is causing them persistent consequences, a loss of connection with their true Self or an inability to recover a sense of harmony within. My work and education is trauma informed.
In my personal life, I abstain from using chemical substances such as alcohol & nicotine. I consider myself free from all substances that cause or wreak havoc on my body, spirit and mind. I do advocate for the healing properties of plant medicines within a safe professional container, as research shows this can assist in continued support with healing and building bridges into wholeness.
I work with folks who are in a wide range of different stages in their recovery. As much as we collectively share all of our human foibles, every body system is different and our journey to wholeness within isn’t a one size fits all model. I trust the mind of the client and we create the guide posts for their healing together, in relationship.
